- · The Georgian Military Highway crosses the Jvari Pass above 2,300 metres; it is paved but winding, with switchbacks near Gudauri

- · Driving time is 2h55 to 3.5 hours depending on stops and traffic; allow extra margin if you plan to continue to Gergeti Trinity Church the same day

Can we stop longer at Ananuri or Gudauri?
Yes, extra stop time can be arranged in advance; the driver can also adjust on the day within reason.
Do you provide a 4×4 in winter?
Yes, a 4×4 or minivan is recommended from late autumn through spring; it carries a surcharge over the sedan price, confirmed at booking.
Can you pick us up from Tbilisi airport instead of a hotel?
Yes, state this when booking and we will quote the combined route.
