A 14-day loop through every Georgian region: Kakheti's vineyards, the Georgian Military Highway, Svaneti's towers, Batumi's coast and Vardzia's caves.
- —Covers all of Georgia's signature regions in one route, from Kakheti to the Black Sea, instead of forcing a choice between them
- —4×4 vehicle for the Kutaisi–Mestia and Mestia-Ushguli sections, where the road genuinely requires it
- —One built-in rest day in Batumi, placed between the mountain stretch and the long return drive
- —Mix of 3-4 star hotels in the cities and two traditional Svan guesthouses in Mestia
- —Same licensed English-speaking driver-guide for all 14 days, so the trip is not handed between operators
- —Most meals included, including Imeretian and Svan cooking in the regions where it's worth eating locally

- · Dress modestly for monastery and church visits: shoulders and knees covered
- · Mobile signal is patchy around Ushguli and parts of Upper Svaneti
Is this trip suitable in winter?
No. Svaneti roads and the Ushguli track are generally closed or unreliable from November to April. This itinerary runs May to October; exact dates checked at booking.
How much walking and fitness is required?
Moderate fitness is enough: walking at altitude near Gergeti Trinity Church and in Svaneti, plus several long driving days.
Can the trip be shorter?
Yes. See our 10-day Georgia in 10 Days and 7-day Classic Grand Tour for versions of this same route in less time.
What vehicle is used?
A sedan or minivan for the lowland days, switching to a 4×4 for the Kutaisi–Mestia–Ushguli sections where the road requires it.
