Private 4×4 or minivan down the Enguri gorge from Mestia to Zugdidi or on to Kutaisi, with a Svan driver who knows the road in every season.
Map: OpenStreetMap · Road route and driving times: OSRM · Times exclude stops.
Can we choose between ending in Zugdidi and Kutaisi at the same price?
Yes, the €320 per-car rate covers either destination; Kutaisi adds roughly 1.5–2 hours of driving.
Will the driver wait if our train or flight is delayed?
Reasonable waiting time is included; longer delays are discussed and confirmed at booking.
Is this safe in winter?
The road is driven year-round by local drivers, but heavy snow or landslides can close it entirely; we check gtour.ge/road-status before every departure and will reschedule if needed.
Can we stop at the Dadiani Palace in Zugdidi on the way through?
Yes, add it as a short detour; the entrance ticket is paid locally and the time is checked at booking.
Prices are per vehicle in euros, including fuel, parking and the driver; passengers up to the seats stated. Every transfer is private. Hotels, wineries and restaurants on our routes are verified by GTour.
