The honest answer is that Georgia has far more than 50 good things to do, so this list is a filter: sights and experiences that a first-time visitor can actually reach, afford and enjoy within a one- to three-week trip, organised by region, by season and by interest so you can build an itinerary rather than just admire a long scroll. It mixes UNESCO sites, mountain treks, wine cellars, spa towns, a few city walks and the handful of festivals worth timing a holiday around.
Use the tables below as a menu. Each row gives the experience, how long it takes, the best time of year, an indicative price per person when two travellers share a private tour or transfer, and the name of our matching tour, which links through automatically. Solo and group prices differ and are shown in full on each tour page; where a rule, fee or road status can change year to year, we say so and point to the official source so you can check before you go.
How to use this list
Georgia splits naturally into six touring areas: Tbilisi and its day trips, Kakheti‘s wine country, the Great Caucasus (Kazbegi, Khevsureti, Tusheti), Svaneti and western Georgia, the Black Sea coast around Batumi, and the southern spa and cave-city region of Samtskhe-Javakheti. A first week usually covers Tbilisi, Kakheti and Kazbegi; a second adds Svaneti and the coast. High mountain passes to Tusheti and parts of Khevsureti are open roughly June to mid-October only, and conditions change yearly, so check road status before booking anything time-sensitive.

Practical summary
- Pick one base region per 3 to 4 days: Tbilisi and Kakheti pair naturally; Kazbegi and Svaneti each deserve their own leg.
- Check your visa situation before booking, starting at the official Georgia e-Visa portal.
- High passes (Tusheti, parts of Khevsureti) run roughly June to mid-October; confirm current conditions before locking in dates.
- Prices above are per person when two travellers share a private tour; solo travellers and groups of three or more pay different rates shown on each tour page.
- Layer your trip around one or two UNESCO sites (Mtskheta, Upper Svaneti, Gelati) and one food or wine experience per region for a rounded first visit.
- Time a visit to late September or early October to combine harvest season, mild mountain weather and the widest choice of open cellars.
