A full eastern Kakheti day linking Gremi's hilltop citadel, Nekresi's monastery, Kvareli's wine tunnel and a short forest walk at Lagodekhi.
Map: OpenStreetMap · Road route and driving times: OSRM · Times exclude stops.
Is the shuttle up to Nekresi included in the price?
Yes, the site's own shuttle van to the upper monastery is included; the entrance fee itself is checked at booking.
How much walking is involved at Lagodekhi?
The included section is a short, mostly flat walk to the nearest waterfall viewpoint, not the longer reserve trails.
Can we skip Lagodekhi for more time in Kvareli?
Yes, the route can be adjusted when booking, though the day is built around reaching Lagodekhi while there is still daylight.
What happens if the Gombori Pass is closed?
We reroute via Telavi on the lower road; check gtour.ge/road-status for current conditions before your date.
Prices are per person for two travelling together, in euros; solo travellers and larger groups are quoted on request. Every departure is private and adjusted to you. Hotels, wineries and restaurants on our routes are verified by GTour.
