Colchian gold at Vani, Mayakovsky's childhood home in Baghdati and the mineral springs of Sairme gorge, in one day from Kutaisi.
- —Vani archaeological museum holds original Colchian gold jewellery found on the site, not replicas
- —Baghdati's wooden house museum traces the poet Mayakovsky's childhood in this Imereti town
- —Sairme's forested gorge and sanatorium park offer a genuine change of pace after two history stops
- —Lunch at a family-run restaurant in Baghdati, not a tour-bus canteen
- —Private car and licensed guide, so the pace is set by you, not a group schedule
- —A route most visitors to Kutaisi never see, well off the Gelati–Bagrati circuit

How much free time do we have at Sairme?
Around ninety minutes, enough to walk the sanatorium park and try the mineral water, less time for a full spa treatment on this itinerary.
Is the Vani museum open every day?
Opening days vary by season, we confirm this when you book.
Can this be combined with Martvili or Okatse canyons?
Not on the same day given drive times, but ask about a longer Kutaisi and Western Georgia itinerary that covers both regions.
Is the restaurant in Baghdati able to handle vegetarian requests?
Yes, Imeretian family restaurants routinely serve bean, cheese and vegetable dishes alongside meat, tell us in advance of any allergies.
Prices are per person for two travelling together, in euros; solo travellers and larger groups are quoted on request. Every departure is private and adjusted to you. Hotels, wineries and restaurants on our routes are verified by GTour.
