The old Amiran cellar in the village of Velistsikhe is a unique example of traditional Kakhetian winemaking. It is not just a wine cellar, but a journey back in time, a living museum where visitors not only taste wine, but also share in the life of a Georgian peasant and the culture of viticulture. Here, each qvevri tells a story, each wall preserves Georgian family traditions, and the wine – stored in the cellar since the 17th century – preserves the spirit of Georgian wine culture – the aroma of wine stored in qvevri and the stories of generations.
