Tskaltubo, a short drive from Kutaisi, built its reputation in the Soviet era on radon-rich mineral springs and a cluster of grand sanatoriums set inside quiet parkland. Many of those buildings are now being restored as hotels and spa resorts, while the nearby city of Kutaisi offers a wider base of accommodation for travellers who want to combine a spa visit with sightseeing, the Prometheus Cave, Gelati Monastery, or onward travel through Imereti.

This list was compiled by the GTour desk from the national register of licensed accommodation. Selection was based on location relative to Tskaltubo and Kutaisi, an established operating presence, and what each property offers a traveller planning a spa or regional stay. No payment was accepted for inclusion and no ratings are claimed; entries are presented in no particular order of preference.

How to use this list

Readers planning a spa-focused stay should prioritise the Tskaltubo-centre entries for proximity to the springs and parkland, while those wanting a wider choice of restaurants, transport links, or sightseeing may prefer a Kutaisi base and travel the short distance to Tskaltubo for spa treatments or a day at the Prometheus Cave. As with all entries in the national register, travellers should confirm current details directly with each property before booking.
