Tsinandali Estate, A Radisson Collection Hotel, occupies the historic winery and garden estate of the 19th-century Georgian prince and poet Alexander Chavchavadze, in the village of Tsinandali in Kakheti, Georgia’s main wine region. The hotel says it combines “aristocratic heritage with contemporary luxury,” pairing a 124-room contemporary hotel with the surviving Chavchavadze house museum, an 18-hectare historic park, a 19th-century wine cellar, and a working winery. The property offers seven dining venues, two wellness areas, an outdoor amphitheatre for large events, and meeting rooms set in the historic buildings. It sits roughly 92 kilometres, or about an hour and three-quarters by car, from Tbilisi International Airport.
Tsinandali was developed in the first half of the 19th century as the country residence of Alexander Chavchavadze (1786–1846), a Georgian aristocrat, poet and military figure who is widely credited as a founder of Georgia’s modern, export-oriented wine industry. He laid out the estate’s grounds as a romantic, European-style landscape garden, planting exotic and local species alongside the family’s vineyards, and built a wine cellar on the property to age and store his collection. The estate and its garden later passed into public and state hands and were preserved as the Alexander Chavchavadze House Museum, which still stands on the grounds today. In the 21st century the estate was redeveloped to combine the historic museum, garden and cellar with a newly built hotel operated as part of the Radisson Collection brand, and the site now also hosts the Tsinandali Festival, an international classical music festival held on the grounds, according to the hotel.

The hotel says its 124 rooms and suites were designed by the Spanish designers Christina Gabas and Damian Figueras, with interiors “inspired by the seasons” and finished in soothing colours and natural materials. Rooms look out over the Caucasus Mountains, the estate’s vineyards or the surrounding forest, according to the hotel. The categories listed on the official site are:
Natella Restaurant is described by the hotel as a Georgian restaurant serving Kakhetian dishes made with seasonal, local ingredients and paired with Tsinandali Estate wines.
Prince Alexander Restaurant serves the hotel’s daily breakfast buffet and an all-day menu, with the hotel noting that Kakheti’s cuisine is “simple, hearty, and delicious.”
Gaumarjos Wine Bar is where, according to the hotel, guests can taste the best wines of the Tsinandali Cellar during a visit to the estate and museum.
Pool Bar offers cocktails, smoothies and grilled dishes, positioned by the hotel as a refreshment spot by the pool.
Tsinandali Museum Café sits on the ground floor of the Alexander Chavchavadze House Museum, in the heart of the Tsinandali Estate garden, and is described as a spot for a light snack.
Library Bar is also on the ground floor of the Chavchavadze House Museum, in the garden, and the hotel says its menu includes “Umami,” a selection spanning Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai influences, alongside light snacks.
Pino Restaurant, at the Park Hotel, offers views of the surrounding nature and the Caucasus Mountains along with what the hotel describes as Georgian and Italian culinary offerings.
The official site also lists a Shadow Bar, a rooftop terrace above the Ballroom overlooking the historic park and hotel courtyard, serving signature cocktails and light snacks, along with general “other dining options” covering breakfast, in-room dining and a children’s menu.
The hotel operates two wellness facilities. The Anne Semonin Spa sits on the top, fifth floor of the hotel and, according to the hotel, includes a fitness club, a Finnish sauna, a steam room and an outdoor pool, alongside holistic body treatments and wine-based treatment experiences, set against views of Tsinandali and the Caucasus range. The Infinity Pool & Leisure Club is described as a separate wellness space with an indoor pool fitted with retractable transparent walls and roof, a children’s pool and a terrace, available year-round to guests of both Tsinandali Estate and the Park Hotel. A further facility, Zandukeli’s Bathhouse, named after Silovan “Sila” Zandukeli, is presented by the hotel as a calm space for rest and conversation. The About page also mentions a rooftop infinity pool overlooking the Caucasus Mountains. For sport, the estate offers padel and tennis courts, a designated running area, complimentary bicycles and a billiards table in the Library Bar, plus a Game Zone with arcade games and a PlayStation 5, and an outdoor kids’ playground with a weekend Kids Fair, according to the hotel.
The hotel describes Tsinandali as “Kakheti’s Premier Event Destination,” with meeting and event space split between modern and historic buildings. The Ballroom is presented as a venue for weddings, corporate events and special occasions. The Amphitheatre is an open-air venue that the meetings page states can hold up to 700 guests, though the hotel’s general About page separately describes “an impressive open-air amphitheater for up to 1,200 guests” — travellers planning a large event should confirm current capacity directly with the hotel. In the historic part of the estate, the Tsinandali venue holds up to 60 guests, the Saperavi Room up to 30, and the Lounge Room up to 120, each combining what the hotel calls “classic Georgian architecture with modern amenities.” The Gallery occupies space inside the historic Aleksandre Chavchavadze House Museum, while the Vineyard Terrace uses the 18-hectare English-style garden, originally designed by Alexander Chavchavadze, as a backdrop for weddings and outdoor events. The hotel lists a range of complimentary event services (projector and screen, flip chart, tables and chairs, wired and wireless internet, among others) and extra-charge services such as AV technicians, microphones, interpreters and photographers.
No formal awards are stated on the official website. The property is part of the Radisson Collection brand and the Silk Hospitality group, whose Silk Rewards loyalty app — described by the hotel as “the first Georgian loyalty application in the hospitality industry” — can be used to earn and redeem points across its venues.
The hotel’s offers page lists several seasonal packages rather than fixed room rates. These include an early-booking discount of 30 percent on stays from 15 September to 29 December 2025 when booked between 25 August and 7 September; a Georgian-style picnic package (breakfast plus a picnic box with cheese board, chvishtari sticks, seasonal fruit, Georgian delight, water and Natella wine) valid from 1 August to 31 October; a 25-percent-off package that includes a complimentary ticket to the Alexander Chavchavadze Museum; and a Family Experience package offering 30 percent off, a free stay for children under 12, a family or connecting room, breakfast, a children’s sweet basket and late check-out until 14:00, for bookings taken between 25 March and 31 December 2026.
