In Tbilisi, on the slope of a high mountain to the west of Turtle Lake, G. Chitaya Georgian Vernacular Architecture and Lifestyle Open Air Museum is located.
In the Museum, it is possible to learn more about the homestead culture characteristic of each historical-ethnographic part of Georgia, the variety of residential houses and the traditional lifestyle, and also to visit historical-archaeological and workshop expositions. More than 9,000 exhibits are registered in the Museum funds.
