About GTour — Gateway to Georgia

G Tour started in 2026 at the Castle in Old Town, a restored heritage residence on Betlemi Rise in Tbilisi. Guests of the house kept asking the same questions — is the Military Highway open, which wine village is worth the drive, how many days does Svaneti need — and the answers were scattered across outdated pages and brochures. So we built the answer ourselves: a travel newsroom that checks facts every day, and a private tour desk that takes you there.

G Tour is a brand of Sheni LLC (შპს „შენი“, ID 406548222) and part of the Sheni Network, a Georgian publishing group founded in 2003 whose sites reach millions of readers a month. The founder, Prof. Giorgi Pkhakadze, MD, MPH, PhD, is a public-health professor at David Tvildiani Medical University and Chair of the Public Health Institute of Georgia; he reviews every health and safety guide on this site. Tours are run by Giorgi Balakhadze, Head of Tour Operations, with licensed drivers and guides.

What we publish is checked against primary sources — the Roads Department, the National Bank, the National Tourism Administration, the Patriarchate, UNESCO — and signed by a named author. What we sell is private, priced openly in euro, and confirmed by a person who has driven the road.
