Are the spa and medical treatments included in the price?
The initial doctor consultation at each resort is included. Specific cures, massages or balneology courses are booked and paid locally, prices checked at booking.
What is the best time of year for this trip?
May to October gives the most reliable mountain road between Sairme and Abastumani. Winter travel is possible but depends on conditions, see our road status page before booking.
Is this suitable if I have a heart condition or am pregnant?
Mineral and sulfur water cures are not suitable for everyone. We recommend checking with your own doctor before booking, and the sanatorium doctor will advise on arrival.
How long are the drives between resorts?
Kutaisi to Sairme is about 1.5 to 2 hours. Sairme to Abastumani is about 3 to 4 hours on a winding mountain road, driving time varies by season.
Prices are per person for two travelling together, in euros; solo travellers and larger groups are quoted on request. Every departure is private and adjusted to you. Hotels, wineries and restaurants on our routes are verified by GTour.
