- · The rental SUV is a standard road vehicle, not an off-road 4×4 — the final track to Gergeti Trinity Church and any trip to Ushguli need a local jeep, arranged separately

Do we need previous mountain-driving experience?
No, but the Military Highway and the Mestia road have long climbs, switchbacks and occasional trucks; the route plan flags the sections that need extra care, and our desk is reachable if conditions change.
Is the car automatic or manual?
Automatic SUVs are available on request; confirm your preference when booking as stock varies by season, checked at booking.
Can we shorten or change the route once we arrive?
Yes, within reason — hotels are pre-booked but our desk can usually rearrange a night or two if you want longer in Svaneti or less time on the coast.
What happens if a pass closes for weather?
We monitor road status daily and call you with an alternative routing or a schedule swap before you set off that morning.
Prices are per person for two travelling together, in euros; solo travellers and larger groups are quoted on request. Every departure is private and adjusted to you. Hotels, wineries and restaurants on our routes are verified by GTour.

Free cancellation up to 7 days before the tour. Between 7 days and 48 hours: 50 % of the price. Less than 48 hours or no-show: no refund. If a mountain road closes and the tour cannot run, you choose a new date or a full refund.
20 % deposit confirms the booking. Deposit by card or bank transfer when the date is confirmed; the balance in cash or by card at the start of the tour. No hidden fees — fuel, parking, driver and guide are included; entrance tickets, meals and hotels are listed per tour.
