• · Bodbe is an active convent: shoulders and knees must be covered, and women are asked to cover their heads (scarves are usually available at the entrance, checked at booking)
• · Sighnaghi's streets are cobbled and steep in places, comfortable walking shoes recommended
• · Wine tastings are generous; the driver does not drink, but pace yourself if you want to enjoy both cellars
• · Road to Kakheti can be slow in rain or fog, especially over Gombori pass; your guide will choose the route on the day
• · Best from April through November; from December to March some cellars operate on reduced hours (checked at booking)
