Cookie policy

We use as few cookies as a working website allows and no advertising trackers.

Strictly necessary

• Cache and language cookies that remember whether you read the English or Russian edition and keep forms working.
• A session cookie if you log in (staff only).

These cannot be switched off without breaking the site; they hold no personal data.

Measurement

We count page views with a privacy-respecting method that does not identify you. If an analytics service that sets cookies is enabled (we name it here when it is: none at present), it is set only after you accept it, and raw addresses are truncated.

Embedded content

The interactive map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap; some pages embed the places directory from our own domain. Third-party embeds (a video, a map from another provider) may set their own cookies under their own policies; we avoid them where we can.

Your choices

Your browser lets you block or delete cookies; the site keeps working, except that your language choice is not remembered. Questions: info@castle.ge. See also the privacy policy.
