- No new visa, border or route changes are indicated by this report.
- Travellers should expect continued high visitor volumes, with Russia the leading source market.
- Those planning a 2026 trip can expect similar infrastructure and service levels as in 2025.
Georgia recorded nearly seven million international visits in 2025, according to figures released by the Georgian National Tourism Administration. Russia remained the single largest source market for arrivals during the year.
The figure reflects total cross-border visits rather than overnight stays, and includes both leisure and transit travellers entering the country through its land, air and sea border crossings. Official data on monthly breakdowns and other leading source markets have not yet been published in detail.
Tourism officials have not announced specific policy changes accompanying the release of the figures, and no new entry requirements or infrastructure projects were mentioned alongside the statistics.
