The National Tourism Administration reported a record 5.52 million tourist arrivals and 7.8 million international visitors for 2025, with arrivals from the EU and the UK up 14%, Israel up 29.4%, China up 44.4% and Saudi Arabia up 9.1% on 2024 (1tv.ge, January 2026). The first half of 2026 was softer: Geostat’s quarterly figures show arrivals down 4.9% in Q2 after regional conflicts reduced travel from neighbouring markets, while visits from the EU and the UK continued to grow. The next Geostat release (Q3 2026, July–September) is due at the end of October 2026 and will be added here.
