Казбеги — двухдневное путешествие в горы

Сколько длится этот тур и во сколько он начинается?

This is a 2-day, 1-night private tour. Departure from your Tbilisi hotel is at 08:30, though since every departure is private, you can request a different time. You return to your Tbilisi hotel on Day 2 in the early evening.

What is included and what isn't?

Included are a private car with driver, an English-speaking guide, one night in a 4-star mountain hotel with breakfast, and 4x4 transfers to Gergeti Trinity Church and Juta. Lunches, dinner, and personal expenses are not included.

Is this tour private, and how many people does it accommodate?

Yes, this is a fully private tour with just your car, driver and guide. The quoted price of €390 per person is based on two travellers; solo travellers or larger groups can request a custom quote.

Is the tour suitable for children or older travellers with limited mobility?

The minimum age listed is 1, so young children can join, though the mountain altitude, long driving days and partly off-road 4x4 transfers should be considered for very young kids or those with health concerns. Walking is entirely optional — you can see Juta's views from the car park without hiking, which makes it manageable for those with limited mobility. Older travellers should be comfortable with a night away from Tbilisi and some time in a 4x4 on rough roads.

What is the best season to do this tour, and what happens in winter?

Juta is open and walkable from late May to October. In winter, when Juta is inaccessible, the tour substitutes a snow walk or extra time in Gudauri instead. Expect cooler mountain temperatures year-round given the altitude, so dress in layers.

What should I bring?

Bring sun protection, as the mountain altitude makes sun exposure deceptive even on cool days. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended if you plan to hike at Juta or around Gergeti, along with warm layers for the overnight stay in Stepantsminda.

Where does the tour start, and can it begin from Kutaisi or Batumi instead of Tbilisi?

The standard pickup is from your hotel in Tbilisi. The text doesn't mention Kutaisi or Batumi starts, but as every departure is private and customized, this can likely be arranged on request when booking — just ask.

What is the hotel like on the overnight stay?

You'll stay in a boutique 4-star hotel in Stepantsminda with mountain views and breakfast included. The Rooms Hotel Kazbegi can be arranged instead on request, for an additional supplement.

How do I book, and what are the payment or cancellation terms?

Booking is made through the contact form on the tour page. The text doesn't specify payment or cancellation policies, so it's best to ask about these directly when you make your booking inquiry.
