- Avoid heading into Tusheti today: the Pshaveli–Abano–Omalo road is restricted at km 22-72 and km 39-45.
- Expect thunderstorms and poor visibility in Gudauri and Stepantsminda (Kazbegi); delay mountain drives if possible.
- If travelling toward Mestia, plan an alternative route around the closed km177-178 section of the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia road.
Rain and thunderstorms dominate the east and the mountains today, with Telavi, Gudauri and Stepantsminda seeing heavy showers while Batumi and Kutaisi stay milder and mostly dry; the lari trades near 2.60 to the US dollar, 2.91 to the euro and 3.48 to the pound. Road access to Tusheti remains restricted on the Pshaveli–Abano–Omalo route, and part of the Mestia road near km177-178 is also closed, so mountain travel needs rechecking before departure.

Recently reopened: Trailer and semi-trailer traffic resumed on Mugudo Gorge bridge crossing; Traffic restored for high-clearance vehicles on the Lechuri–Omalo section (Tusheti road); Traffic restored at km 26 of the Vaziani–Gombori–Telavi road (Kakheti); Traffic unrestricted at km 11 of the Tsalenjikha–Obuji–Jikhaskari road (Samegrelo).
