Kazakh budget airline FlyArystan has announced it will launch direct flights between Astana and Batumi for the upcoming summer season, adding a new international connection to Georgia’s Black Sea coast.
The route is expected to serve travellers from Kazakhstan and Central Asia seeking access to Batumi and the wider Adjara region during the peak summer tourism period. Further details on exact launch date, frequency and ticket prices have not yet been released by the carrier.
Batumi International Airport has seen growing interest from regional low-cost carriers in recent years, as Adjara continues to promote itself as a summer beach and leisure destination for visitors from neighbouring countries.
