Itinerary

Day 1Depart [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/) around 09:00 on the Georgian Military Highway, stopping at Ananuri fortress on the Zhinvali reservoir and again in [Gudauri](https://gtour.ge/georgia/gudauri/). After crossing the Jvari Pass, weather permitting, arrive in [Stepantsminda](https://gtour.ge/georgia/stepantsminda/) and take an afternoon snowshoe walk up to Gergeti Trinity Church, around 1 to 1.5 hours each way depending on snow depth, before checking into the Rooms Hotel for the night.

Day 2Morning free for Kazbek views from the hotel terrace if the sky is clear, followed by breakfast and a short walk around [Stepantsminda](https://gtour.ge/georgia/stepantsminda/). Depart late morning for [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/) with a stop in [Gudauri](https://gtour.ge/georgia/gudauri/), arriving back in the city by early evening.
