Good to know

- · Radon-carbonate bathing requires medical clearance; pregnancy, acute illness and some heart conditions may rule it out, which is why the consultation comes first

- · Spring No. 6 is one of several working bathhouses in [Tskaltubo](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tskaltubo/); exact bath hours and session length are checked at booking

- · Prometheus Cave holds a constant 14°C inside, bring a light layer even in warm months

- · [Tskaltubo](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tskaltubo/)'s old sanatorium buildings are mostly disused and some are in visible disrepair; this is a working spa town, not a polished resort

- · Bring swimwear and closed, comfortable shoes for the cave walkway; towels are usually provided, checked at booking

- · This 3-night format is designed as a trial; for a full balneology course see our 7-night [Tskaltubo](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tskaltubo/) Cure

Questions

**Is radon bathing safe?**
Radon-carbonate baths have been used in Soviet-era balneology for musculoskeletal and circulatory conditions. The doctor's consultation on day one screens for contraindications before any bath is administered.

**How many baths do I actually get in 3 nights?**
One session per full day, three in total, each typically 15 to 20 minutes, exact duration set by the doctor and checked at booking.

**Can I extend this into a longer cure?**
Yes. If the short version suits you, our 7-night [Tskaltubo](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tskaltubo/) Cure adds further bath sessions and mud treatment.

**Do I need my own transport in Tskaltubo?**
No. Private transfers from and to [Kutaisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/kutaisi/) airport are included, and the bathhouse and cave visit are both arranged for you.

Prices are per person for two travelling together, in euros; solo travellers and larger groups are quoted on request. Every departure is private and adjusted to you. Hotels, wineries and restaurants on our routes are [verified by GTour](/verified/).
