The route

[Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/)

Why this tour

- —Dry Bridge flea market for Soviet medals, enamel pins, old cameras and carpets, laid out on blankets along the Mtkvari riverbank

- —Dezerter Bazaar for spices, nuts, churchkhela, bread and cheese, where locals actually shop rather than a tourist-facing market

- —A guide who tells you what Soviet-era items genuinely are (and aren't) before you buy

- —Practical haggling guidance, including what counts as a fair opening offer at each stall type

- —A short stop at the Saarbrücken Bridge for context on the river and the two districts it connects

- —Fixed-length walk of three hours, easy to fit before lunch or between other plans in [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/)

- · Bring cash in Lari in small denominations, most sellers at both markets do not take cards

- · Haggling is expected at the Dry Bridge flea stalls but not at Dezerter Bazaar's fixed-price food counters

- · This is an outdoor walk with some covered sections at the bazaar, dress for the weather in late October, mornings in [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/) can be cool

- · Not step-free throughout; curbs and market crowding should be expected
