Ten unhurried days across Tbilisi, Kakheti and Borjomi, with rest days, short walks, lifts instead of stairs, and a doctor on call.
| Day 1 | Arrival at Tbilisi airport, private transfer to your hotel, and the rest of the day free to settle in. |
| Day 2 | A short, level walking tour of Old Tbilisi — Narikala by cable car rather than the climb, Sioni Cathedral, and the sulphur bath district — with lunch and an early finish. |
| Day 3 | Rest day in Tbilisi, with an optional gentle half-day out to Mtskheta to see Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery, both reached by vehicle to the door. |
| Day 4 | Transfer from Tbilisi to Kakheti, around two hours by comfortable vehicle, checking into an estate near Telavi for a four-night stay. |
| Day 5 | Rest day at the estate. No excursions scheduled; wine tasting on site or a short walk through the vineyard for those who want it. |
| Day 6 | A gentle day around Telavi and Kakheti: the old royal palace, the plane tree, and a stop at Alaverdi Monastery, with Ikalto and Gremi visited only if the group wants a longer day. |
| Day 7 | Second rest day at the estate, or an optional short outing to Sighnaghi, a walkable hill town with views over the Alazani Valley. |
| Day 8 | Transfer from Kakheti to Borjomi, roughly four to five hours including a seated lunch stop, arriving in time to rest before dinner. |
| Day 9 | Rest day in Borjomi with an easy stroll through Borjomi Central Park (cable car available for the hillside section), or an optional day trip to Kutaisi (about ninety minutes each way) for Gelati Monastery and Bagrati Cathedral, both reached close to parking. |
| Day 10 | Private transfer from Borjomi back to Tbilisi, with time built in for the three-hour drive plus traffic, for your onward flight. |
Is this tour suitable for someone using a wheelchair or a walker?
Partially. Hotels have lifts and the vehicle can pull up close to most sites, but Old Tbilisi and Sighnaghi have cobbled streets and some uneven ground. Tell us about specific mobility needs before booking so we can confirm each site.
What happens if someone in the group needs to skip an activity or rest mid-day?
The driver and vehicle stay with the group throughout, so anyone can return to the hotel at any point without ending the day for others.
Is the doctor actually available, or is this just a phone number?
It is a named local doctor who can be reached by phone throughout the tour and who knows the itinerary and hotels in advance, not a general emergency line.
Is the Kutaisi day trip worth adding given the drive?
Gelati Monastery and Bagrati Cathedral are around ninety minutes from Borjomi each way, so it is a full day out. We treat it as optional and happy to replace it with a second rest day in Borjomi instead.
