A full day in Kakheti with a qvevri maker and a winemaker, from clay firing to a vertical tasting of amber wine over cellar lunch.
| 08:30 | Pickup in Tbilisi and drive east into Kakheti, roughly two hours depending on traffic through Gombori or the valley road. |
| 10:30 | Qvevri workshop near Telavi, where you see clay prepared, vessels shaped by hand, and the firing kiln explained by the maker. |
| 12:30 | Move to a family wine cellar for lunch, Kakheti dishes paired with wines from the estate. |
| 14:00 | The winemaker opens a qvevri and walks through racking and skin-contact fermentation, the method behind Georgian amber wine. |
| 15:00 | Vertical tasting, several vintages of the same amber wine tasted side by side. |
| 16:30 | Free time in Telavi if the schedule allows, with the royal palace and the old plane tree — checked at booking. |
| 18:30 | Return drive to Tbilisi, arrival in the evening. |
