A proposal or symbolic ceremony at Gergeti Trinity, [Sighnaghi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/sighnaghi/) or a Kakheti vineyard, arranged with photographer, flowers and a private dinner.

The route

[Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/)[Stepantsminda](https://gtour.ge/georgia/stepantsminda/)[Sighnaghi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/sighnaghi/)

Why this tour

- —One location chosen in advance from three settings: Gergeti Trinity Church below Mount Kazbek, a [Sighnaghi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/sighnaghi/) terrace above the Alazani valley, or a Kakheti vineyard

- —Photographer works at a discreet distance so the moment reads as candid, not staged

- —Flowers, timing and the exact spot are coordinated with you beforehand, including how to keep it a surprise if needed

- —Private car for the whole day, so there is no group schedule to work around

- —A reserved dinner table in [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/) in the evening to close the day, booked to your preference

- —Run by a licensed [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/) operator (Sheni LLC), one point of contact from planning to the day itself

12:30Descend to [Stepantsminda](https://gtour.ge/georgia/stepantsminda/), lunch at a guesthouse with a view toward the Chaukhi range.

14:00Return drive toward [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/), a second stop at Ananuri or the Zhinvali reservoir viewpoint for photographs if light allows.

Good to know

- · Gergeti Trinity requires modest dress: shoulders and knees covered, women are asked to cover their heads inside the church, scarves are provided at the entrance

- · At 2170m the weather can turn cold and windy even when [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/) is warm; bring a jacket regardless of season

- · The Military Highway can close for snow or avalanche risk in winter; if that happens on the day, we move the location to [Sighnaghi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/sighnaghi/) or Kakheti with full notice

- · The Gergeti access road is only driven in 4×4 vehicles, which we provide; walking up takes about two hours each way and is offered as an alternative if preferred

- · Tell us at booking if discretion is needed, for example if one partner does not know the plan, so we can brief the driver and photographer accordingly

- · Book at least two weeks ahead where possible, since the photographer and the specific church or vineyard slot need confirming

Questions

**Can we choose Sighnaghi or a Kakheti vineyard instead of Gergeti Trinity?**
Yes, the itinerary above uses Gergeti Trinity as the example route; the same day structure runs to [Sighnaghi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/sighnaghi/)'s town wall or a Kakheti vineyard terrace instead, with the drive time and lunch stop adjusted.

**What happens if the Military Highway is closed on our date?**
We check road status the morning of the trip and switch to the Kakheti or [Sighnaghi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/sighnaghi/) option with no change in price, giving you as much notice as possible.

**Can family or friends join part of the day?**
Yes, this can be arranged, for example a small group waiting at the dinner afterward, though the proposal or ceremony moment itself is normally kept to the couple.

**How is pricing worked out for this day?**
The quoted rate of €890 per person is based on two people travelling together; solo travellers and groups are quoted separately once we know your preferred location and numbers.

Prices are per person for two travelling together, in euros; solo travellers and larger groups are quoted on request. Every departure is private and adjusted to you. Hotels, wineries and restaurants on our routes are [verified by GTour](/verified/).
