A seven-day stay in [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/) built around your clinic schedule: airport transfers, an interpreter at every appointment, and quiet recovery days with an easy outing to [Mtskheta](https://gtour.ge/georgia/mtskheta/).

The route

[Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/)[Mtskheta](https://gtour.ge/georgia/mtskheta/)

Why this tour

- —Interpreter attends clinic appointments with you, not just at the door, so you understand diagnosis, consent forms and aftercare instructions

- —Hotel is chosen near your clinic's address, not a generic tourist district, to keep taxi time to appointments short

- —Recovery days are planned around what your doctor allows, including a seated, unhurried visit to [Mtskheta](https://gtour.ge/georgia/mtskheta/) rather than a full walking tour

- —We handle pharmacy runs, insurance paperwork and local SIM or data needs so you are not managing logistics after a procedure

- —We do not select or recommend the clinic — your own doctor's referral or booking confirmation sets the schedule, we work around it

- —Private car and English-speaking driver throughout, so no public transport or ride-hailing apps are needed during recovery

Itinerary

Day 1Airport pickup in [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/) and transfer to a hotel booked near your clinic's address. Interpreter meets you for a short briefing on the week's appointments and confirms contact details for emergencies.

Day 2Interpreter accompanies you to your first clinic appointment, [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/), and stays through consultation and any paperwork. Afterwards, a pharmacy stop if medication is prescribed.

Day 3Appointment or procedure day at the clinic, exact timing set by the clinic's calendar rather than ours. Interpreter remains on call by phone even if not required on-site.

Day 4Recovery day. If your doctor clears gentle movement, a short outing in [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/)'s Old Town at a slow pace; otherwise a rest day at the hotel with the driver on standby.

Day 5Follow-up clinic visit with the interpreter, plus any further pharmacy or insurance documentation needed for your return home.

Day 6Recovery outing to [Mtskheta](https://gtour.ge/georgia/mtskheta/), about 20–25 minutes from [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/) by car. A seated, unhurried visit to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and, if your doctor agrees to the short walk up, Jvari Monastery for the view over the river confluence.

Day 7Final check-up at the clinic if scheduled, then airport transfer for departure. Interpreter provides a written summary of visits for your home doctor on request.

Good to know

- · We do not choose, vet or recommend the clinic — appointments follow the schedule your own doctor or the clinic itself confirms

- · Bring your referral letter, prior scans or test results and a list of current medication, in English if possible

- · Dress modestly for Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery: shoulders and knees covered, headscarves available for women at the entrance

- · Jvari Monastery sits on a hill with a short uphill walk from the car park; we only include this stop if your doctor has cleared light walking

- · Georgia uses the lari (GEL); clinics and pharmacies may quote in GEL or USD, checked at booking

- · The interpreter translates and clarifies language at appointments but does not give medical advice or make treatment decisions

Questions

**Do you select the clinic or doctor for us?**
No. We work with the clinic your own doctor has referred you to or that you have already booked, and arrange everything around that schedule.

**Can a family member or companion travel with the patient?**
Yes. The price of €1490 per person is based on two people travelling together; solo patients and larger groups are quoted separately.

**What if recovery takes longer than planned?**
We can extend the hotel stay, transfers and interpreter support beyond the 7 days; this is quoted once your doctor indicates a new timeline.

**Is the interpreter medically qualified?**
The interpreter's role is language, not medical judgement. They make sure you understand what the doctor explains and that your questions are translated accurately.

Prices are per person for two travelling together, in euros; solo travellers and larger groups are quoted on request. Every departure is private and adjusted to you. Hotels, wineries and restaurants on our routes are [verified by GTour](/verified/).
