Eight thousand years of winemaking in one day: qvevri cellars, a hilltop town and the Alazani valley under the Caucasus.

Itinerary

08:30	Leave Tbilisi east. Bodbe convent, then Sighnaghi — walk the wall and the lanes.
Midday	Family winery: the cellar, the qvevri, a tasting of amber, white and red with the winemaker. Lunch at the estate.
Afternoon	A second winery in the Alazani valley (or Telavi and the Tsinandali estate on request). Return to Tbilisi by around 19:00.
