Five days at walking pace through Kakheti's cellars and monasteries, two nights at a wine estate near Telavi, then one night under Mount Kazbek.

| Day 2 | Full day around Telavi: Alaverdi Monastery, Ikalto Monastery and academy ruins, and Gremi's royal church and tower, then on to Kvareli for the wine tunnel, Chavchavadze's house-museum and a Kindzmarauli tasting before returning to the estate. |
| Day 3 | Transfer to Sighnaghi (about one hour), visit Bodbe Monastery and the tomb of St Nino, then walk the 18th-century fortress walls and old town streets before an overnight stay inside the walls. |
| Day 4 | Drive north to Stepantsminda via Tbilisi and the Georgian Military Highway (around four hours total, road conditions checked at booking), with a stop at Ananuri fortress on the way; afternoon 4x4 ride up to Gergeti Trinity Church, weather permitting. |
| Day 5 | Morning free in Stepantsminda or a short walk, then return drive to Tbilisi (about three hours) with drop-off at your hotel or the airport. |
Can we add a third night in Kakheti instead of Sighnaghi?
Yes, the itinerary can be rearranged; let us know when booking and we will adjust the wine estate and Sighnaghi nights accordingly.
Is the Gergeti Trinity Church hike included or do we drive up?
The ride up is by 4x4, included in the price; walking up on foot is optional and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours one way if you prefer it.
What happens if the Military Highway is closed on day 4?
We monitor the road daily and will either delay the Kazbegi night by a day, swap the order of days 3 and 4, or substitute an extra Kakheti day, agreed with you in advance.
Is this tour suitable for a solo traveller or a group of four?
Yes, it runs for solo travellers and groups up to six; the price shown is per person based on two sharing, solo and group rates are quoted on request.
