- —The St Andrew and Panorama trails combine beech forest, open ridge line and meadow in one continuous route

- —Two nights in national park tourist shelters, with bunks and a stove, well above the day-trip crowds

- —Guide and all trail food carried in, so you walk without organising logistics

- —Moderate difficulty, suited to hikers with average fitness and no technical experience

- —[Borjomi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/borjomi/) itself bookends the trek, with its mineral water springs and Romanov-era park

Good to know

- · Moderate trek: 5 to 7 hours of walking per day on forest paths and ridge line, uneven in places

- · Shelters are basic, bunks and a shared common room, no hot water, a sleeping bag or liner is worth bringing

- · Trail is open May to October only, exact shelter availability and closures checked at booking

- · Sturdy, broken-in hiking boots and layered clothing are needed, nights in the shelters can be cold even in July

- · Mobile signal is patchy inside the park, tell family in advance

- · No technical climbing or scrambling, but you should be used to regular multi-hour walking

Questions

**How hard is this trek**
It is rated moderate, with 5 to 7 hours of walking most days on forest and ridge trails. No climbing skills are needed, but you should have some multi-day hiking experience.

**What are the tourist shelters like**
They are simple wooden park shelters with bunk beds and a shared cooking and eating area, used by hikers on the official [Borjomi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/borjomi/)-Kharagauli trail network. There is no running hot water.

**Can this be shortened to two days**
Not on this route. Three days is the minimum to walk the St Andrew and Panorama trails with an overnight at each shelter rather than a long single push.

**Does the trek run in winter**
No. The park trails and shelters operate May to October; snow and closures make the route impractical outside that window, checked at booking for shoulder-season dates.

Prices are per person for two travelling together, in euros; solo travellers and larger groups are quoted on request. Every departure is private and adjusted to you. Hotels, wineries and restaurants on our routes are [verified by GTour](/verified/).
