The route

[Batumi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/batumi/)[Kutaisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/kutaisi/)

Why this tour

- —Fixed price per car, not per seat, so a family or small group pays the same as one traveller

Good to know

- · Driving time is 2.5 hours direct along the coastal and inland highway; add time for the Ureki or Poti stop or for [Batumi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/batumi/) city traffic in July and August

- · Price is fixed per car, so confirm the vehicle type (sedan or minivan) for your group size and luggage when booking

- · The route runs year-round; winter fog near the coast can add 15-20 minutes but rarely closes the road

- · Specify your exact pickup and drop-off address, including airport terminal, at the time of booking

- · No special clothing or gear needed, this is a transfer, not a tour stop with walking

- · If your flight is delayed, tell us the new time as early as possible so the driver adjusts

Questions

**Can we stop at Ureki or Poti on the way?**
Yes, tell us when booking and we add the stop to the itinerary; it typically adds 30-45 minutes to the drive and any entrance fee is separate.

**How much luggage fits in the car?**
A sedan takes 2-3 standard suitcases, a minivan takes more; tell us your luggage count at booking so we send the right vehicle.

**What happens if our flight into Batumi is delayed?**
The driver tracks the flight and waits free of charge for the first 60 minutes after landing; just let us know of any larger delay.

**Can the transfer go the other direction, Kutaisi to Batumi?**
Yes, the same car and price apply in either direction, hotel to hotel or airport to airport.

Prices are per vehicle in euros, including fuel, parking and the driver; passengers up to the seats stated. Every transfer is private. Hotels, wineries and restaurants on our routes are [verified by GTour](/verified/).
