How long is the drive from Batumi?
About three hours each way to the Tskaltubo and Martvili area, roughly three and a half hours on the return leg. This is one of the longer day trips we run from Batumi.
Is the Martvili Canyon boat ride included?
Yes, the short boat ride through the canyon is included in the price. It can be suspended after heavy rain or in low water, checked at booking.
Does Prometheus Cave also have a boat section?
Yes, part of the cave visit is by boat on its underground river. This section depends on water levels and is confirmed on the day, checked at booking.
Is 11 hours too long for children or older travellers?
It is a full day with significant driving time. If you would rather cut the driving, our Martvili & Okatse Canyons plus Prometheus Cave day trip from Kutaisi covers the same sites with a shorter transfer.
