Good to know

- · Flat walking route, suitable for most fitness levels, around 3 km total

- · Summer afternoons are hot and humid; morning or early evening starts are more comfortable

- · Modest dress (covered shoulders and knees) if you plan to go inside Orta Jame mosque

- · Comfortable walking shoes recommended, some cobbled streets in the Old Town

- · Museum opening days and exact hours checked at booking, as several close one day a week

- · Winter sea winds on the boulevard can be sharp, bring a windproof layer

Questions

**Does the tour go inside any museums?**
No, this is a street-level walk. We point out the Nobel brothers' museum district and can arrange a separate museum visit if you want one, checked at booking.

**Can we start from our hotel?**
The walk begins near Orta Jame in the Old Town. If your hotel is further out, a car transfer can be added for an extra fee, quoted at booking.

**Is this suitable for a cruise port stop?**
Yes, 2.5 hours fits most port calls. Tell us your ship's schedule and we build the timing around it.

**What if it rains?**
The route runs rain or shine since most of it is under cover of the Old Town's narrow streets; the boulevard section is exposed, so bring a light rain jacket between October and April.

Prices are per person for two travelling together, in euros; solo travellers and larger groups are quoted on request. Every departure is private and adjusted to you. Hotels, wineries and restaurants on our routes are [verified by GTour](/verified/).
