Three days from Kazbek's alpenglow to Kakheti's vineyard terraces, shot with a photographer-guide who times each stop for light, not convenience.
| День 1 | Leave Tbilisi early on the Georgian Military Highway, stopping at Ananuri fortress and the Jvari Pass viewpoints for working light. Arrive in Stepantsminda by early afternoon, with a late-afternoon shoot and overnight stay below Mount Kazbek. |
| День 2 | Pre-dawn departure by 4x4 up to Gergeti Trinity Church for sunrise and the Kazbek alpenglow, weather permitting. Drive back toward Tbilisi through the afternoon, continuing on to Kakheti and arriving in Sighnaghi for a blue-hour shoot over the Alazani valley. |
| День 3 | Morning at Bodbe Monastery and the tomb of St Nino, then down into the vineyard terraces below Sighnaghi for a working session among the vines. Drive back to Tbilisi by late afternoon, ending at your hotel. |
What if the mountain is in cloud on the sunrise morning?
We can shift the Gergeti shoot to a second attempt later that day or adjust the Day 2 schedule depending on the forecast; we discuss this with you before departure.
Is this tour physically demanding?
Walking at Gergeti Trinity Church and around Sighnaghi's fortress wall is moderate, on uneven ground in places; no technical hiking is involved.
Can the itinerary be adjusted for golden hour at other stops?
Yes, departure and stop times are built around light rather than a fixed schedule, within the overall three-day route.
What camera gear should I bring?
A tripod, a wide-angle lens for landscapes, and a mid-range zoom for Kakheti's vineyard details are the minimum; we travel light given the early starts and unpaved sections.
