A private day tour in Georgia with GTour in 2026 costs from €119 per person in a group of four to six, up to €272 per person for a solo traveller on a longer day trip such as Vardzia Cave City, based on our published price index checked on 26 October 2026. The price is set per vehicle and per guide, not per head, so sharing a car is what moves the number, not haggling.

The nuance that trips up most first-time bookers is that “per person” in a private tour means something different from “per person” on a marketplace group tour. Our day-trip rate includes the car, the English-speaking driver, fuel, tolls and parking; it does not include lunch, museum or monastery entrance fees, or wine-tasting charges, which are paid directly and vary by site. A solo traveller who wants privacy pays the full day rate alone; a party of four to six splits the same car cost five or six ways and the per-person price falls by roughly half.

### Day trips, by group size

Below are five representative day trips from our current index. All other day tours follow the same per-car logic; the full list with every itinerary is on [gtour.ge/data/](https://gtour.ge/data/) and [gtour.ge/tours/](https://gtour.ge/tours/).

| Day trip | Solo | Two | Three | Four to six |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Tbilisi](https://gtour.ge/georgia/tbilisi/) and [Mtskheta](https://gtour.ge/georgia/mtskheta/) | €224 | €140 | €133 | €119 |
| [Kakheti](https://gtour.ge/georgia/kakheti/) wine country | €240 | €150 | €143 | €128 |
| [Gori](https://gtour.ge/georgia/gori/) and Uplistsikhe | €224 | €140 | €133 | €119 |
| Kazbegi, Gergeti Trinity | €256 | €160 | €152 | €136 |
| Vardzia Cave City | €272 | €170 | €162 | €145 |

### Multi-day tours

Multi-day private tours scale the same way, with the driver’s accommodation and meals folded into the day rate so there is no separate line for it. A two-day trip to Kazbegi runs from €332 to €624 per person depending on group size; the full 10-day Tbilisi to [Svaneti](https://gtour.ge/georgia/svaneti/) to the sea itinerary runs from €1,607 to €3,024 per person. A mid-length example:

- Kakheti Grand Wine and Heritage, 3 days: €587 to €1,104 per person

- [Mestia](https://gtour.ge/georgia/mestia/) and [Ushguli](https://gtour.ge/georgia/ushguli/), 3 days in Svaneti: €723 to €1,360 per person

- Georgia in Winter, 6 days with [Gudauri](https://gtour.ge/georgia/gudauri/) skiing: €1,012 to €1,904 per person

- Georgia in 7 Days, the classic grand tour: €1,097 to €2,064 per person

- Georgia in 10 Days, Tbilisi to Svaneti to the sea: €1,607 to €3,024 per person

Exact figures for every multi-day itinerary, and any seasonal adjustment, sit on [gtour.ge/data/](https://gtour.ge/data/), which we treat as the live reference rather than republishing numbers that may move with fuel and lodging costs.

### What is included, what is not

- Included: private car, English-speaking driver, fuel, tolls, parking; on multi-day tours the driver’s own meals and lodging.

- Included where booked: a licensed guide, charged per group and per day, not per person, with the guide’s own entrance tickets covered.

- Not included: your meals, museum and monastery entrance fees, wine-tasting fees, cable cars, and any tips.

- Not included unless agreed in writing: hotel bookings, though we charge a flat €15 per reservation if you ask us to book and will not mark up the room rate.

### Transfers and day rates for a self-built itinerary

If you prefer to build your own route rather than book a packaged tour, car-with-driver and guide rates are published separately and can be combined freely.

| Service | Price |
| --- | --- |
| Tbilisi airport to Tbilisi, sedan (1-3 people), one way | €25 |
| Tbilisi to Kazbegi, sedan, one way | €75 |
| Car with driver, day in and around Tbilisi, sedan | €90 |
| Car with driver, multi-day touring, 4×4 per day | €165 |
| Licensed guide, city walk up to 4 hours | €70 |
| Licensed guide, full day with your own transport | €110 |

At the National Bank of Georgia’s rate checked on 26 October 2026, 1 euro equalled roughly 2.91 lari and 1.07 US dollars, so a €150 day trip converts to about 436 lari; for the live rate used in any quote, see [gtour.ge/data/](https://gtour.ge/data/).

### Private tours versus marketplace group tours

Marketplace day tours advertised at €15 to €30 per person look cheaper on paper, and for a solo traveller on a fixed date they can be a reasonable choice. The comparison is only fair if you weigh what changes: a marketplace minibus seats 15 to 20 strangers on one departure time, with no choice of pace, stops, or route; a private tour of four to six sharing a car at €119 to €150 per person gets the same destination with a flexible schedule, your own driver, and a guide who answers to your group alone. For a solo traveller who values privacy and flexibility over the lowest price, the gap narrows further once lunch, tips, and the value of a wasted half-day on a group itinerary are counted. Neither model is wrong; the honest comparison is cost per person at the group size you actually are, not cost per seat on someone else’s bus.

### Where this comes from

Figures above are GTour’s own published price index for 2026, drawn from gtour.ge/data/ and the individual tour and service pages on gtour.ge/tours/ and gtour.ge/services/, checked on 26 October 2026. The lari conversion uses the National Bank of Georgia’s reference rate for the same date. Prices change with fuel, lodging seasons and peak-month demand; always confirm the current figure on gtour.ge/data/ before booking, and for broader context on licensing of tour operators and guides in Georgia see the Georgian National Tourism Administration at [gnta.ge](https://gnta.ge/) and the official visitor portal at [georgia.travel](https://georgia.travel/).
