Zodi Winery is a small, family-owned winery located in the village of Zodi, in the Chiatura municipality of Upper Imereti. Established in 2019, it represents the kind of modest, family-run production that characterizes much of the Imeretian wine tradition, a region known for its own distinct winemaking style within Georgia’s broader viticultural heritage.

The winery sits within the Chiatura area, a part of Imereti recognized for its dramatic limestone landscapes and historic mining past, offering visitors a quieter, rural alternative to the more frequently visited wine routes of Kakheti. Reaching Zodi generally involves travel through Chiatura, which itself is accessible from Kutaisi and other towns in the region by road. The surrounding Upper Imereti countryside provides a backdrop of hills and villages typical of the area, with Chiatura town itself offering historical interest for those exploring further.

This listing suits travelers interested in small-scale, family-run wine producers and those wishing to experience Imeretian winemaking away from larger commercial operations, particularly visitors already exploring the Chiatura region or Upper Imereti more broadly.
