Twin Wine House is a small-scale winery located in the village of Napareuli, within the Telavi municipality of Kakheti, Georgia’s principal wine-producing region. Napareuli lies along the fertile Alazani Valley, an area long associated with traditional Georgian winemaking and qvevri wine culture, and the register description points to a family legend tracing the site’s story back to the 19th century.

The surrounding area offers easy access to Telavi, the regional capital, known for its hilltop fortress and views over the Alazani Valley toward the Caucasus range. Let’s go back to the 19th century and tell our story. There is a verbal legend that in the 70s of the 19th century 9 brothers Gamtkitsulashvili lived in the village of Napareuli. They made wine from qvevri and cultivated the land.

The tradition of making wine has been passed down from generation to generation. For the first time, the sons of the brothers, Firuza, Giorgi and Iosebi, took over this business. The next was Firuza’s son – Valiko and finally In the 90s, the twins Gela and Gia founded the Twin Wine House.
