Suntower Mestia is a hotel located in Mestia, the administrative center of Upper Svaneti within the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region of Georgia. The property sits on Gabliani street, within the compact town that serves as the main hub for travelers exploring this mountainous area of the Caucasus, known for its medieval Svan defensive towers, many of which are visible throughout the town itself.

Mestia functions as a gateway to Upper Svaneti, with easy access to attractions such as Seti Square, the Svaneti History and Ethnography Museum, and the Queen Tamar Mestia Airport for those arriving by air. The surrounding area offers opportunities for hiking and trekking, including routes toward Ushguli, as well as seasonal skiing at the nearby Hatsvali and Tetnuldi resorts. The town can also be reached by road from Zugdidi, a common route for visitors traveling from western Georgia.

This location suits travelers planning to explore Svaneti’s mountain landscapes, cultural sites, and outdoor activities, using Mestia as a base for day trips and excursions into the surrounding highland region.
