Rero Winery is a small wine producer situated in the village of Futi, in the Imereti region of western Georgia. Imereti is one of Georgia’s historic winemaking areas, known for its distinct approach to traditional qvevri winemaking and for indigenous grape varieties such as Tsolikouri, Tsitska and Krakhuna, which differ from those more commonly associated with the eastern Kakheti region.

The surrounding Imereti countryside is characterised by rolling hills, river valleys and rural villages, offering visitors a quieter, less touristed alternative to Georgia’s larger wine regions.
