Qaraulashvili’s Qvevri Cellar is a small-scale wine site located on Ikaro Street in Kakheti, Georgia’s principal wine-growing region. The cellar’s name points to the qvevri method, the traditional clay-vessel fermentation and ageing technique long associated with Kakhetian winemaking and recognised as part of the country’s intangible cultural heritage. The listing is included in the national tourism register and has been verified by GTour, with map and contact details available for visitors planning a route through the area.

Kakheti is dotted with vineyards, family cellars and small wine villages, and a stop at this address can be combined with visits to nearby towns, churches and other wine producers typical of the region. The area is generally reached by road from Tbilisi or from Kakheti’s larger centres such as Telavi or Sighnaghi, making it accessible as part of a broader day trip or multi-stop wine route.

The place suits travellers interested in Georgian wine culture, qvevri production methods and the rural character of Kakheti, particularly those building an independent itinerary around the region’s cellars and vineyards.
