Muzzé Family Winery & Cellar is a small, family-run wine producer situated in the village of Kakabeti, in the heart of Kakheti, Georgia’s principal wine-growing region. As its own description notes, it is a place “where every bottle of wine has a story to tell,” reflecting the personal, small-scale character typical of family wineries in this part of the country.

Kakabeti lies within the broader Alazani Valley area, known for its vineyards and traditional winemaking culture. The surrounding Kakheti region offers visitors access to well-known towns such as Telavi and Sighnaghi, along with scenic countryside, vineyard landscapes, and other wine cellars that make up Georgia’s most celebrated wine trail. Travelers typically reach the area by road from Tbilisi, with Kakheti’s towns serving as convenient bases for exploring nearby villages like Kakabeti.

This winery suits travelers interested in Georgia’s wine heritage and those looking to explore smaller, family-operated cellars as part of a broader Kakheti wine-region itinerary, alongside visits to the region’s historic towns and vineyard scenery.
