Mia Telavi is a hotel located in Telavi, the administrative center of the Kakheti region, widely regarded as the heart of Georgia’s winemaking tradition. The property sits on 9 Aprili Street, a central thoroughfare named after the events of April 9, 1989, placing guests within easy reach of the town’s main sights and services.

Telavi serves as a convenient base for exploring eastern Georgia’s vineyards, wine cellars and historic monasteries. The town itself features landmarks such as the Batonis Tsikhe fortress and the ancient plane tree in the central square, while the surrounding Kakheti countryside offers access to Alaverdi, Gremi, Nekresi and the Tsinandali estate. Telavi is typically reached by road from Tbilisi, with the journey taking a couple of hours through the Gombori Pass or via Sagarejo.

Given its location in Telavi’s town center, Mia Telavi suits travelers using the city as a starting point for day trips across Kakheti’s wine routes and heritage sites, as well as those seeking straightforward access to local shops, restaurants and transport links within walking distance of the address.
