Wine — Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Georgia

Martvili Marani was founded in 2012 in the village of Targameuli, Martvili Municipality. We grow local Georgian grape varieties like Ojaleshi, Aladasturi, Orbeli Ojaleshi,  Tsolikouri, Tsitsa and Krakhuna on 3 hectares of vineyard.

We make natural wines from Georgian grapes, using the traditional method with qvevri – large clay pots buried underground. This is the way Georgians have made wine for thousands of years. Every year, we produce around 14,000 bottles.

Our wines are enjoyed around the world – we export to 16 countries, including the USA, Japan, Denmark, Greece, Germany, Australia, Tai
