Lukas Marani is a small winery located in the Kvemo Kartli region, on St. Nino street. According to the register, it was founded by Avtandil Gabrichidze in 2017, continuing a family winemaking tradition, and it operates as a working marani producing wine in the Georgian style.

Kvemo Kartli lies south of Tbilisi and is one of Georgia’s historic viticultural areas, with districts such as Bolnisi and Marneuli long associated with vineyards and traditional qvevri winemaking. The area is also known for its Orthodox heritage, including early medieval churches, and for rural landscapes of vineyards, orchards and farmland. Travelers typically reach the region by road from Tbilisi, making it a feasible day trip or stop on a longer route through southern Georgia.

Lukas Marani suits visitors interested in small-scale, family-run wine production and those exploring Kvemo Kartli’s agricultural and cultural landscape alongside its historic sites, rather than large commercial wine estates.
