Gida Wine is a winery entry in GTour’s verified register, located in the village of Khashmi within Kakheti, Georgia’s principal wine-producing region. Khashmi sits in the eastern part of the country, in an area shaped by vineyards and the traditional winemaking culture that defines Kakheti, making the setting itself part of the visit.

The surrounding area is part of Georgia’s broader wine route, with the region’s many small producers, rural villages and agricultural landscapes nearby. Travelers typically reach Kakheti from Tbilisi by road, continuing through towns such as Sagarejo or Gurjaani before arriving at smaller villages like Khashmi. The wider Kakheti region is also known for its monasteries, historic towns like Telavi and Sighnaghi, and the Alazani Valley, all reachable as part of a longer regional itinerary.

This listing suits visitors interested in Georgia’s wine culture and rural Kakheti, particularly those exploring the region’s smaller, lesser-known producers alongside more established wine towns. It is best approached as one stop within a broader Kakheti wine-region visit rather than a standalone destination.
