Hotel Gora is a small hotel situated in the Imereti region of Georgia, on Debi Ishkhnelebi Street. The street’s name references the Ishkhneli Sisters, a celebrated Georgian vocal trio associated with Chiatura, suggesting the property lies within or near this historic mining town known for its dramatic cliffside setting and aerial cable car system.

Guests staying here are within reach of Chiatura’s distinctive Soviet-era ropeways, steep gorge scenery and compact town center, while Kutaisi, Imereti’s regional hub with its cathedral, bazaar and transport links, lies a reasonable drive away. The surrounding Imereti landscape offers caves, canyons and rural villages for those interested in exploring beyond the main towns.

According to the register description, the hotel offers a nice view, fitting for its hillside or elevated position typical of the area’s terrain. It suits travelers seeking a base for exploring Chiatura’s unusual industrial heritage and the wider Imereti countryside, away from the more heavily touristed centers of Tbilisi or Batumi.
