Fereba’s Cellar is a small wine house located in the village of Tibaani, within the Sighnagi municipality of Kakheti, one of Georgia’s most celebrated wine-producing regions. The cellar is described as a place created with love for wine, where visitors can taste wine and chacha made in qvevri, continuing the traditional Georgian method of fermenting and aging wine in large clay vessels buried underground.

Tibaani sits in the rolling countryside near Sighnagi, a historic hilltop town known for its preserved old quarter, defensive walls and views over the Alazani Valley toward the Caucasus mountains. The surrounding area is dotted with vineyards, family-run cellars and villages that reflect the region’s long winemaking heritage, making it easy to combine a stop here with a broader exploration of Kakheti’s wine routes. The area is generally reached by road from Sighnagi or Telavi, both common bases for travelers touring the region.

This cellar suits visitors interested in traditional qvevri wine and chacha, and those who prefer a quieter, village-based setting over larger commercial wineries.
