Edelweiss is a hotel located in Gudauri, a mountain resort settlement in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of Georgia. Gudauri sits along the Georgian Military Highway, one of the country’s principal routes through the Caucasus, known for its alpine scenery and status as a major winter sports destination.

The surrounding area is built around Gudauri’s ski infrastructure, with slopes and lifts drawing visitors in the winter season, while summer brings opportunities for hiking and paragliding thanks to the open mountain terrain. The settlement lies on the way toward the Jvari Pass (Cross Pass) and is within reach of Kazbegi further north, making it a convenient stop for travelers exploring the Military Highway corridor. Mtskheta, the historic former capital, is also part of the wider region, though it sits at a greater distance to the south.

This location suits travelers heading to the mountains for skiing, snowboarding, or warm-weather outdoor activity, as well as those passing through on a Georgian Military Highway road trip. The hotel is listed in the national tourism register and has been verified by GTour, with map and contact details available for planning a visit.
