Chalet Papa Basili is a hotel property located in Gudauri, a mountain resort settlement in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of Georgia. The listing is part of the national tourism register and has been verified by GTour, with map and contact details available for travelers planning a visit.

Gudauri sits along the Georgian Military Road, the historic route connecting Tbilisi with the Caucasus mountains and the town of Kazbegi further north. The area is best known as a winter sports destination, with ski slopes and lift infrastructure spread across the surrounding hillsides, while in warmer months it serves as a base for hiking and paragliding thanks to its elevated position and mountain views. En route from Tbilisi, travelers typically pass through Ananuri, a fortress complex on the Aragvi River, and cross the Jvari Pass, one of the higher points on the road, before reaching the resort.

The hotel suits visitors seeking a base in Gudauri itself, whether for seasonal skiing and snowboarding or for exploring the broader Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, including nearby Kazbegi and its surrounding trails, at a point reasonably accessible by road from the capital.
