Archil Guniava Wine Cellar is a small-scale wine producer located in the village of Kvaliti, in Georgia’s Imereti region. It is listed in the national tourism register as a wine-related site, reflecting the long-standing tradition of home and family winemaking that characterizes rural Imereti, an area historically associated with grape varieties such as Tsitska and Tsolikouri and with qvevri-based production methods.

Kvaliti sits within the broader Imereti landscape, a region centered around the city of Kutaisi, which serves as the main transport and cultural hub for the area, home to landmarks such as Bagrati Cathedral and within reach of Gelati Monastery and the spa town of Tsqaltubo. Travelers typically approach villages like Kvaliti via regional roads branching from Kutaisi, making the cellar accessible as part of a wider exploration of Imereti’s countryside and wine routes.

This listing suits visitors interested in rural Georgian winemaking traditions and those building an itinerary around Imereti’s wine culture alongside the region’s historical and natural sites.
